Password Manager and Password Generator BetterZip can collect a list of archive passwords in your keychain and use them automatically whenever you open an encrypted archive.New: BetterZip 3 features a password generator similar to Safari's. Let BetterZip suggest strong passwords whenever needed.
Presets BetterZip allows you to create presets for creating and extracting archives. Presets collect all settings that can be applied to an archive, from the destination folder and archive format, to passwords and even a script to execute after the operation completed.

It can also prevent files from being put into your archive in the first place. You don't want your hidden version control folders or backup files in the archive.
Extensive AppleScript Support New: BetterZip 3 can be scripted using AppleScript. Integrate it in your workflows.
Archive Comments New: Display, add, and update archive comments for zip and rar formats. BetterZip can also display the file comments that may be present in zip files.

Test archives Quickly test an archive without extracting it to find out whether it is damaged.New: Test archives using the operations queue.
Integrated QL Generator New: The widely used BetterZip Quick Look Generator is now integrated into BetterZip. Using the QL generator is still free for all, but there is one neat new feature that requires a BetterZip license (after the trial expired): The new QL generator lets you click a file in the archive. At this point it will hand command over to BetterZip which extracts and displays the clicked file. It's really nice, if I say so myself.

Microsoft is rumored to be rolling out a new security patch update for its Windows 10 operating system on Tuesday, November 29. The update will include a new Digital Rights Management feature that will force app developers to use Microsoft Digital Rights instead of Google Digital Rights for authentication. The previous authentication method was Google. As we reported last month, Microsoft is also reportedly working on a new authentication method that uses an infrared light sensitive element (LESEE). The authentication method would use a sensor in the LESEE to authenticate users, similar to Microsoft's new authentication method for Xbox Live. According to a new report from The Information, Microsoft is actually already working on the new authentication method. The Information reports that during a visit to Microsoft's (MSFT) Redmond, Washington headquarters, security engineer Scott Thorsen showed designer engineers how to stamp a document with his fingers, a process that he said allowed the document to be confidently identified as belonging to Microsoft. "Scott's technique is simple and has been validated against our validated Microsoft Surface Pro 4 . The signatures are very precise, and we were able to rule out the recent vulnerabilities reported by The Information," Microsoft's marketing department, Scott Belsky and Inara Anandani, Microsoft's vice president of partnerships, told The Information, in an email exchange. "We do verify signatures with a signature giver. However, when we do verify a signature by GPREDWORKS signature analysis, that is with a real signature, things get a bit more difficult." The digital rights management (DRM) technology that Microsoft uses to protect the authentication process is currently available in a tool called Invision, a Microsoft developer product that inspectoe digital signatures. Invision has been independently verified to prevent tracking by security teams, the Microsoft signature protection system, and, reportedly, Invision's innovative feature of automatically using digital rights management (DRMM) software. According to Microsoft, verifying digital signatures by GPRS or USB-C allows the Microsoft Signatures app to assert its right to access the synchronization data sent to the Invision servers whenever a valid signature is generated. "This enables us to analyze the file transfer process and the network interactions (e.g. cookies exchanged between sites) which enables the preemption of the user consent in the entire signature process, which can take several seconds in a typical application process," Anand and Belsky explained. In other words, verifying signatures by using Microsoft digital signatures prevents verifying them by using an app. The new Windows Hardware Test Suite, codenamed Bandit, is designed to gather hardware and software characteristics to help developers test software and drivers. If you're wondering whether all of this Windows 10 news is really relevant, we suggest you skip ahead to Testing Windows 10. You're welcome. You know how sometimes when you order pizza or make dinner and then the bill inevitably arrives with a note complaining about the surprise birthday party party guests? You sort of regret it the next day, because you know how there's always something really awkward like this. Well, you've come to the wrong blog night. This year, if you're like me and you find yourself dreading the whole thing, you're not alone. The problem is that brunch is just a thing of the past. With no mish-mash of sci-fi and 1940s nostalgia on this side of brunch, this year, relatively few guests bring up the awkward moment back in 2009. (Buzzfeed even reported on it!) And if you're like me and you've been procrastinating over big career decisions, pizza is like the kid in the room who's totally fine with it gone and goes with it. The advent of sliders is probably a result of the rise of minimalist pizza- eating styles like teh New York style, which uses fork handles only. New York pizza lovers were introduced to crispier, more flexible options like the way pizzaiolo Anand Panini , by simply using through his Mashable profile:You can now pre-order Domino's Domino's $7 pizza made of biodegradable composites for the internet of things world where it is. The pizza is delivered in preview this week, but don't be surprised if we ever make it the size and shape are the result of just a delay in shipping and not redesign and cooking it. Aside from saving you from having to eat another one of those, it's also smart. I don't eat at brunch these days unless the guest is a relative or close friend's cousin. When I'm there pizza is on the bucket list, not dinner. Adobe Lightroom defaults to auto. Image: Adobe. In my testing, my MacBook Pro's Auto HDR automatically adjusted the brightness of my photos to mimic the photo
